Things to do while QUARANTINED
Week of March 23
3-23: A-day Morning meeting via ZOOM
3-24: B-day Morning meeting via ZOOM
3-25: Work on Chp5/Section 7, use the worksheet in the link on the EXTRA PRACTICE tab on the home page. You will need a periodic table. I suggest you print one if you can or use the blue one I gave you in December if you have it with you.
*Begin in your online textbook on page 524. Look at the cute What Do You See? :)
*Read the Investigate and answer all the questions using the worksheet - the charts in the book are the ones I put together on the worksheet for you. READ the information and instructions for 1-4, fill in the blanks on the worksheet and answer the rest on paper or in your lab notebook if you have it with you.
3-26: Go to the EXTRA PRACTICE tab on the home page. Watch the video (button/link is under the worksheet from Wednesday). The video is over valence electrons AND electron dot diagrams. Electron dot diagrams will be introduced in 5.8 but they are fun, easy ways to show and understand how many valence electrons each element has. Understanding these diagrams will help you be able to form compounds more easily...that's what's next! Yay!
3-27: Read the Chem to Go on pages 529, 530. Complete the ChemToGo on page 532-533. There are 5 questions. I'll go over all answer at the Monday/Tuesday morning meeting via ZOOM. Please email me if you have any questions while you're working. Miss you guys so much!
